Teen Speak: Chocolate Caramel Day & Games

Monday, March 20, 4-5pm

We’ll have a few Chocolate Caramels and you can play a few games today.  BPY202

Fridays, March 24, 2-4pm and Friday, April 28, 4-6pm

We’ve combined the Teens and Tweens Minecraft! Come in and play a few games, challenge yourself, challenge your friends or work on the challenge we give you. We’ll have surprises and refreshments. BPY205



Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies

Wednesday, March 29, 6-7pm

Explore the world of rabbits in this educational program designed for teens. Judy Wilson will be bringing new born bunnies, so you will need to be extra gentle. Register early. Very limited openings. BPY620

Google CS First Coding

Friday, March 31and Monday April 17, 4-5pm

In this activity, club members learn about animation coding and then create a gaming story in Scratch. This class is open to 5th-8th graders. Register early. BPY206  


National Library Week

April 9-15, All Week

National Library Week will be observed April 9-15, 2016 with the theme, "Libraries Transform." Come in and try your hand at the Young Adult Raffle. Celebrate National Library Week with Love a Lonely Book and other programs.

Love a Lonely Book

Save a Lonely Book from the horrible fate of being discarded. Check it out this month! Choose a Lonely Book and tell us why the book transformed you and put in a separate raffle for an I-Tunes gift card.



Teen Speak: Scrabble and Dessert

Thursday, April 13, 2-4pm
Wondering what to do on your day off? Why don’t you come in and challenge your friends or challenge the librarians to a game or two of Scrabble

Jelly Bean Count

Friday, April 21-Monday, April 24, All Day

Come in and count the Jelly Beans at the Reference Desk. The teen that comes closest without going over will win the jar of jelly beans!
